1987 Chevrolet Astro Mark III Conversion Van

Here's what we traded in the candy apple red Astro on.

The short lived conversion van fad lasted about 6 years. This had quite a lot going for it.

Like a cooler between the corduroy seats and a tv hanging from the roof.

Then the seperate captains chair for the boys. Those ended the fighting in the back as to who got the non door window seat. Cup holders a plenty, Venetian blinds, running boards.. The thing was loaded... almost.

How the conversion company could pick a bare bones Astro as the basis (non halogen lights, roll up windows, no pop outs...etc)
