Three Wishes
If I could find a genie to grant me 3 wishes, these are what I'd wish..............
When Roger was murdered it made me realize how important brothers and sisters really are. I think everyone takes their siblings for granted. It wasn't until Roger was gone that I realized how much I loved him. I never would have told him that when he was alive though. How sissy would that be? But every time I saw my other brothers and sisters from that day forward, you can bet I did tell them.
I can't imagine the pain of burying one of my children. My Dad died a year after Roger was killed. Drowning the pain of the loss of his oldest son in bottle after bottle. I understand, I do. But, I wasn't done with my daddy when his liver gave out. You can have brothers and sisters, but you only get one mommy and one daddy.
You can't pick your parents or your brothers and sisters, but you can pick your friends. Since the day Paula was thrown from her truck, I've been a seat belt advocate. How pitiful is it, that it took the death of a dear close friend to make me buckle up.
